Slaves “rock duo member” Isaac Holman has injured a shoulder again, this time while dancing to The Vengaboys prior to the band’s show at O2 Academy Newcastle yesterday, Tuesday 15th December.
He revealed the news in a post on Facebook this afternoon, which reads:
“Look, here’s the deal everyone. I dislocated my other shoulder on stage last night whilst dancing to our intro song (The Vengaboys – ‘We Like to Party’), I managed to pop it back in after a few seconds and play the gig.
“However I have woken up today and I am in a lot of pain with limited mobility. I’m off to see a specialist in Birmingham this afternoon. We are still going to try and get through the set tonight, and the following two nights, but please be aware of the situation.
“If we have to cut the set short, or just put on our album and sing along to it or get you lot up on stage and do a talent contest or something, this is why. My joints are not good.
“Love from Isaac (slaves rock duo member).”
The band recently had to cancel a few shows owing to a previous shoulder injury Isaac suffered, once again on stage – “there is serious tissue damage that requires him to rest his arm to avoid permanent damage,” management said at the time.
They’re currently scheduled to play O2 Institute Birmingham tonight, Wednesday 16th December; with further shows in London and their hometown, Tunbridge Wells later this week.
