Slaves guitarist Laurie Vincent is going to hold his debut solo art exhibition later this month, at a pop-up in New Cross’ Amersham Arms from 7.30pm on 19th March through to the end of the following day.
“I’d like my paintings to excite and inspire other people,” he explains. “I want my paintings hung on gallery walls and in people’s collections. I just want to take my painting as far as it will go and to keep enjoying it.”
The launch night will include DJ sets from BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart, as well as a special set from a secret guest.
Slaves meanwhile are currently working on their second album, the follow up to last year’s debut, ‘Are You Satisfied?’.
