Record Store Day is like Christmas for some people. A bunch of music is released on limited edition vinyl and for one glorious day, we all remember that you can buy music IRL and Record Stores aren’t just something you see in coming-of-age nineties films.
Taking place April 16th 2016, Record Store Day will see a whole bunch of records released. There’s a 39-page list here but to save you the effort of scrolling past Cheap Trick reissues and Alan Partridge picture discs, here’s a list of what you need to be excited about.
Gerard Way – ‘Pinkish‘ which includes two brand new/never been released tracks
Bring Me The Horizon – ‘Throne/Drown‘ both recorded at their Maida Vale Session for Radio 1
Frank Turner – ‘Positive Songs for Negative People‘ (acoustic)
