Metallica have teamed up with Budweiser to release a limited-edition branded beer in Canada. Hitting shelves on 28th September, the drink will be packaged in black cans and feature the band’s iconic logo.
The collaboration is to celebrate the band’s two shows at Quebec City’s Centre Videotron, which happened earlier this month.
A rep for the Labatt Brewing Company issued a statement that read: “We are very pleased that the guys in Metallica are participating in this unique partnership that marks the history of the Centre Vidéotron.”
In total 91,000 Metallica cans have been produced. They’ll be sold in packs of 15 and 24. Bottoms up!
