Manchester Orchestra have shared a photo of themselves in the studio, working on the follow up to 2014 duo ‘Cope’ and ‘Hope’.
“The plan at this point is to start writing a new MO record next year,” the band’s Andy Hull revealed last summer.
“We have no idea what it’s going to sound like but we do know that we carry a lot of weight on our shoulders to create something that is new and exciting for our band.
“We have never released an album we didn’t stand behind 100 percent and we won’t start now. Even if it takes a little bit (or a lot) more time.”
The news precedes Andy upcoming tour with Kevin Devine, on which the duo will perform material “from all their projects.”
