Into It. Over It., the solo project of Evan Weiss, spent last January writing the followup to 2013’s ‘Intersections‘ before heading into the recording studio that June. Today, via an interview with Spin, they’ve confirmed its title as ‘Standards‘.
@upsetmagazine wrote it all of january. recorded all of june.

Produced by John Vanderslice and recorded straight to tape Evan explains, “We couldn’t sweat the small stuff. You’re not able to go in and tweak or micromanage little sections of the music. It helped me accept chaos in a way I couldn’t before.
“(Vanderslice) wants to make music that sounds like it was from the future, made on gear from the past,” he continues.
There’s still no word on release date or when we can hear the first track from ‘Standards’ but while we wait, why not relive ‘The Shaking Of Leaves‘ from ‘Intersections’.
