Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong is set to feature in American comedy series, Drunk History – a show that sees an inebriated narrator tell stories from history that are then acted out on screen.
Armstrong is set to play Charlie Chaplin in an episode, which also stars Kyle Mooney, Tony Hale, Juno Temple and Gabourey Sidibe. Check out a photo of him in costume here.
The show will air on 4th October, via Comedy Central.
Green Day’s new album ‘Revolution Radio‘ is set to land on 7th October, with a UK tour planned for early next year. They’ll play Leeds’ First Direct Arena on 5th February, followed by Manchester Arena on the 6th, and London’s O2 Arena on the 8th.
