Fearless Vampire Killers recently announce they’re to split following the departure of Kier Kemp, but that’s not before a farewell show at London’s Underworld on 30th October.
And now that gig has sold out, they’ve announced a second show “due to demand”. They’ll play the same venue on the same day as a matinee.
“It’s always difficult knowing how to close the book on something that was so important,” the band explained last week. “Despite various emotions involved, we all agreed that we wanted to do the best by our fans and a fitting farewell was what was needed.
“So we’ll be doing this one show – with Kier too – at the Underworld in Camden. We can’t think of a better place than this as it’s been home to so many great shows for us!
“Expect an emotional and hopefully fun night all round complimented by the brilliant supports, all chosen by us from bands that have played a big part in our story. See you there!”
Support for the matinee performance comes from ZOAX, who will also support in the evening with the addition of ASHESTOANGELS.
The show’s being billed as fans’ last opportunity to see FVK perform alongside Kier. You know, until the inevitable reunion in a few years’ time.
