Future Of The Left have announced a London headline show at The Electric Ballroom on April 21st 2016.
The band recently revealed the details of their fifth studio album ‘The Peace & Truce of Future Of The Left‘ via a Pledgemusic campaign (which hit its target in three hours.)
“In light of a crowdfunding campaign which has moved planets and subsumed realities (thanks to all of you wonderful people), future of the left have decided to play The Electric Ballroom in London on 21st April 2016, because they like it there,” explain the band. “It will be really good and if you don’t come you’ll probably just end up sitting somewhere and shrugging like a confused person who has forgotten what shoes are for.”
Tickets for the rock show go on sale Wednesday 9th December with pledgers (is that what we’re calling them?) getting access to a presale the day before.
‘The Peace & Truce of Future Of The Left’ is due for release 25th March 2016 and is described as, “sounding fantastic. Nasty and (for want of a better word) funky – like a machine having sex with its own shadow then giving the shadow some taxi money home and surprising it by actually owning and operating the taxi and driving to a plush hotel where it receives expensive bath salts and a complete CV/Resume makeover which results in a complete lifestyle change and, eventually, world domination. Yeah, like that. There’s a little less variety than the last record, at this stage at least, but more focus.”
