Despite it being six years since the release of ‘Dead Hearts’, Blackhole will be joining Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Creeper on tour this October. The band revealed the news on Facebook:
‘Today marks six years since we released ‘Dead Hearts’. The album is still very special to us – through it we found great friends, had amazing experiences, and were able to share our music with many people. By November 2010, we had reached the end of the line, but never had a proper chance to say goodbye. It’s time to rectify that and to celebrate the album we made.We are excited to announce that we’re heading out on the road this October with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Creeper. Tickets are going fast and a number of the shows have already sold out, any remaining tickets are available here.
We’ll have new merch available on tour and some other surprises in store, so get down to a show and party with us.
More updates to follow, keep your eyes peeled.
Frank Carter also commented about the new addition and said: “I have been trying to convince Blackhole to reform ever since they disbanded after they released Dead Hearts. So I am incredibly proud to be the person who first gets to tell you… Blackhole IS ALIVE! They will be joining us on our headline tour in October along with Creeper.”
“Somehow we managed to convince those guys to open this tour for us. We all know they are much bigger than that so I would like to take this opportunity to thank them in helping us bring a really special tour to you all,” he continued.
The tour kicks off on 17th October in Brighton. Tickets can be purchased from the band’s website.
