When they left Paramore in 2010, the Farro brothers wrote a controversial blog post that refuted the band’s ‘official’ line, laying out many grievances with how they had been managed.
“In reality, what started as natural somehow morphed into a manufactured product of a major label, riding on the coattails of “Hayley’s dream,” they lamented.
The elder of the two, Josh Farro is currently gearing up to release his debut album, ‘Walkways’. And – as you’d expect – he’s been asked about his departure from his former band.
“I try not to live in the past,” he told AP. “I used to do that, and it’s no good for the soul. For some reason, we hurt the ones we love the most.
“I don’t know why, but that’s just life. If I could go back, I definitely would not have written that, but you live and you learn.”
He also went on to say that he would “totally” be up for a reunion – so watch this space.
