Some form of Guns N’ Roses – one that’s more like the ‘classic’ line up than Axl’s more recent ‘Chinese Democracy’ version – looks set to headline 2016’s Coachella before heading off on a US tour.
Those are the rumours ‘doing the rounds’ online after a report in Billboard added fuel to the fire.
Both Axl Rose and Slash will be part of the band, according to ‘multiple sources’, as they top the bill at the US festival between April 15-17 and April 22-24. They’ll then play as many as 25 football stadiums in North America across the summer, including being one of the first bands to play the new Las Vegas Arena.
The latest reports come off the back of an update to the Guns N’ Roses website, and some teasers shown during the ads at screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Basically, this is happening. As for what follows; as ever with G’n’R – all bets are off.
