Last night (Wednesday 12th October), Frank Iero and some of his crew were involved in an accident in Sydney, with a city bus crashing into their tour van while gear was being unloaded prior to a show.
Frank gave an update earlier to say while everyone was “pretty banged up” they were “miraculously alive and in stable condition” – and now his other band, My Chemical Romance, have followed suit.
“Frank Iero’s band, Frank Iero and the Patience, were unloading their van in Sydney, Australia when they were hit by a bus,” they explain on Twitter.
“Two members of the band are undergoing surgery. Frank is banged up pretty badly but is physically OK. We are sending out our love and wishes for a speedy recovery to his band mates, and to Frabk, and we thank all of you for your kind wishes.”
Frank Iero and the Patience’s album ’Parachutes’ is due on 28th October via Hassle Records.
