Brand New have launched a 48 hour online t-shirt sale for charity, with all proceeds going to the Whitman-Walker Aids Foundation in Washington DC.
The sale is likely in response to American businessman Martin Shkreli, who recently acquired and then massively hiked the price of Daraprim, a drug that can help AIDS and Cancer patients.
An avid music fan, Shkreli has been pictured wearing a Brand New t-shirt. He was also a silent investor in No Devotion frontman Geoff Rickly’s label, Collect Records. Read more here.
