We’ve only just found out that a combination of Foals and Disclosure will be topping the bill at Reading & Leeds Festival (as two separate co-headliners, rather than a bizarre supergroup). They’ll be joining the already announed Red Hot Chili Peppers but it looks like the third and final name has been revealed.
According to William Hill and their punters, Biffy Clyro will be headlining Reading & Leeds 2016. They’re so sure, they put money on it.
Biffy Clyro started the day at a conservative 16/1 but after a flurry of bets, William Hill were forced to suspend booking at 14:36. “Our rationale behind offering Biffy at such a long price was derived mainly from the fact that they only did it in 2013, however, with a new album out this year and a number of people backing them, it would seem as though our intuition was misguided,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.”
In a recent interview, Biffy let slip they were planning on playing “a handful of festivals in the UK,” so who knows.
Last time Biffy Clyro played Reading Festival, it looked like this.
Whatever happens, were excited to have Biffy back. This is why.
