Guns N’ Roses haven’t even announced their semi-reunion yet and already Axl Rose is cancelling things.
The frontman was scheduled to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday evening (5th January) amidst rumours a more vintage lineup of Guns N’ Roses was set to get back together. However his name has now been removed from the show’s listings and a moderator on MyGnRForum.com has reported “I just received confirmation that Axl will NOT be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday, January 5th,” before adding “No reason given. I sent out an email to someone connected with the band the answer I got back is that Axl will not be appearing in tomorrow night’s show. Hopefully we’ll hear more in the coming days, so I wouldn’t get too discouraged. It’s just not going to be on Kimmel tomorrow night. That’s all I know.”
Axl Rose, Slash and friends are reportedly set to reunite for a headline slot at Coachella festival before heading out on a big ol’ US stadium tour to celebrate 30 year$ of the band.
However, as has always been the case, you can never quite be sure what’s really going on with Guns N’ Roses until it’s happened.
At least you can still watch PVRIS.
