AFI’s most recent effort, their ninth full-length ’Burials’ was released in 2013 – and it looks as though they may follow it up next year.
In an update posted on his website, bassist Hunter Burgan says:
“I know that many of you want to know what’s up with AFI. I can’t tell you much at the moment, but we have plans for 2016.
“Circle that year on your calendars.”
In the time since their last album was released, each of the band members has been involved with several other projects – notably, Davey Havok and Jade Puget released an album as XTRMST.
And Hunter has been putting cats on things.
