THEY’RE BACK! Upset has been ‘going’ for a couple of years now, but we’ve never had a band on the cover more than once. Until now.
It’s fitting it’s the mighty PVRIS who break the record, too. Of all the bands who have dominated our life so far, they’re quite probably the most exciting. How many others have arrived with such superstar potential, after all? Spoiler – it’s none. Zero.
And with their new album ‘All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell’, they’ve only kicked that excitement up a notch. It’s still definitively PVRIS, but the horizons are wider than ever before. We go deep with the band as they open up their next chapter. It’s a must read.
Elsewhere this month, we’re as packed with brilliant bands as ever. There’s the day-glo pop wonder of Sainte, the raw power of Death From Above and the protest song of Prophets of Rage. There’s Turnover, Tigers Jaw and The Bronx. Plus Of Mice & Men, Milk Teeth, Cassels and Tonight Alive. We’ve got all your faves.
Add to that INHEAVEN, Wallflower, Fresh and Culture Abuse in our new bands section About To Break, a huge 2000 Trees review AND a special poster pull out from the festival, and we’re cooking on nitro-fuelled gas. Just don’t take your eyebrows off.
The new issue of Upset is out next Wednesday, 16th August. You can pre-order a copy below, or subscribe here. Well, what are you waiting for?
