A week on from smashing headfirst into the UK Albums Chart Top 10, Lower Than Atlantis are on the cover of the new issue of Upset.
The band’s new album ‘Safe In Sound’ sees them make a huge step up. Already one of the biggest names on the British rock scene, it’s a record that sees them develop the self-confident swagger to back up the attention. Never ones to hold back, they’re a band just as comfortable winning the masses on daytime radio as blasting it out in a darkened venue. Now they’ve embraced it, and the results are glorious.
Joining them in the latest edition are a whole bunch of brilliant bands. Sorority Noise fill in the blanks on their new record, Los Campesinos! reveal how they nearly called it a day before their brilliant new album ‘Sick Scenes’, Mattie from VANT has a lot to say, Code Orange drop bombs and Meat Wave ride high. We get deep into Counterfeit‘s debut album, find out what Neck Deep are up to with their next full-length and check in with Jamie Lenman has he plots his nefarious schemes for total domination.
You can also get up close and personal with IDLES in About To Break, find out everything you want to know about the new albums from Can’t Swim and Decade, discover what Chrissy from Against The Current absolutely has to take on tour, and watch Mikey from Mallory Knox and Steph from Greywind go head to head in our new Rock DJ challenge.
