Rob Lynch has announced details of his second album; ‘Baby, I’m A Runaway’ will be released on 22nd July through Xtra Mile Recordings.
He’s previewing the release – which follows on from debut full length, ‘All These Nights In Bars Will Somehow Save My Soul’ – with ‘Sure Thing’; listen below.
“It’s a song about being in a bit of a slump and longing for someone to drag you out of it,” he says, “whether that be through a person themself or through music/literature.
“The joyous nature of the music is supposed to win out over the downbeat lyrics to invoke an overall sense that everything will be alright.”
Rob will play Slam Dunk later this month, with further live dates either side. Catch him at:
27 York – The Black Swan
28 Leeds – Slam Dunk Festival
29 Birmingham – Slam Dunk Festival
30 Hatfield – Slam Dunk Festival
02 London – The Scala (w/ Fatherson)
