Las Kellies are soon to release their new album, but before then they’re sharing new track ‘I Don’t Care’ – check it out below, first on Upset.
The Argentinian trio’s record was produced by long-time collaborator Iván Diaz Mathé, in Demolition Sounds Studios; it’s called ‘Friends & Lovers’ and will be released on 14th October through On Fire Records.
“’I Don’t Care’ is one of the first songs we composed for ‘Friends & Lovers’,” say the band. “When Las Kellies create music, the mood that surround is based on joy, fun, dance spirit, but this time we needed to find a way to deal with rejection, and we did it with a natural punk attitude, but also with humour and positive vibes. We sound pissed off but also in a very funny way. The way you make tea is a shit, but we love to have tea with you anyways.”
The album lands prior to a UK tour, which includes a show at London’s Moth Club on 6th November. Find the full run after the jump.
