Against The Current have covered Justin Bieber‘s ‘Sorry‘ and it’s unapologetically awesome.
Teaming up with Kurt Hugo Schneider and Alex Goot, the cover sees ATC strip back the chirpy bounce of the original and replace it with softly soaring vocal harmonies (and a really cute little keyboard). Check it out below.
”Everything we’ve done has obviously mattered but it feels like we haven’t even taken the first step,” Chrissy Costanza explains in the latest issue of Upset. “When our fans say they’re so proud of how far we’ve come, I’m like ‘thank you, but we’ve just been warming up’. When this album drops, that’s the start.
“The thing I tell people is just to stay genuine, be true to you because ultimately that is the most important thing” she continues. “That’s what we’re really trying to get across when we were doing the album. This is just us. We’re not writing it because we need this kind of song, we’re writing it because that’s what we’ve experienced and it’s what we do. It’s just us.”
While the band haven’t set a release date for the as-of-yet untitled debut, they have announced the first leg of their ‘Running With The Wild Things Tour’ that sees them heading to Europe following a stint supporting All Time Low in the UK.
