Trivium stream brand-new song ‘Blind Leading The Blind’

Orlando metallers Trivium are streaming a new song called ‘Blind Leading The Blind’.

The track follows the video for ‘Silence In The Snow’, which was released two weeks ago, and is taken from the band’s forthcoming record of the same name.

Produced by Michael ‘Elvis Baskette (Slash, Alter Bridge, The Amity Affliction) and mixed by Josh Wilbur, the band recently spoke out about the inspiration behind the album’s title-track and how it was influenced by the group, Heaven And Hell.

“I’d never heard metal summarized so well like that. Afterwards, I came up with Silence in the Snow. We loved the song, but it just didn’t fit with the music we were making at the time. The reason was, perhaps, we weren’t ready for it. We foreshadowed our destiny back then, and we’ve finally grown into the song. It required massive musical growth, and we’re ready now,” said frontman Matt Heafy.

Silence In The Snow is due out on 2nd October via Roadrunner Records.
