The Gospel Youth and Cool for charity compilation

Indie label Speaking Tongues have put together their second compilation and it’s full of really lovely stuff. Cool, The Gospel Youth and Sean McGowan have all contributed tracks alongside Ducking Punches and Calls Landing.

Released on Saturday (17th October), the nineteen track album marks a year of Speaking Tongues. All proceeds from the album will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, which “provides assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict. They do so irrespective of gender, race, religion, creed or political convictions.”

You can grab the compilation for £1 here and stream it below.

“Helping out charitable causes and giving something back is something that’s becoming a huge part of my life and I’ll be donating all proceeds from this compilation to Médecins sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders,” Label founder Tom Aylott explains. “MSF does amazing work around the world, and I’d like to support this work and help out in the wake of the deadly bombing of one of their hospitals in Afghanistan.”
