Sweden’s Spice Boys premiere debut single, ‘It’s Coming’

Sweden’s Spice Boys are soon to release their debut single ‘It’s Coming’. Due later this month, you can hear the track first here on Upset. The four-piece – who share a hometown with former Upset cover stars, Refused – are signed to PNKSLM Recordings.

“The working title for ‘It’s Coming’ – ‘Jobbsökaransikte’ – roughly translates to ‘job hunting face’,” explain the band, “and is a phrase introduced to me by a job centre employee encouraging me to wear my lilla jobbsökaransiktet when attending a job interview.

“‘It’s Coming’ is like a merger of unemployment and the movie They Live from 1988 where a pair of glasses allows this badass drifter to discover how aliens have taken over the earth, maybe also the movie face/off with John Travolta and Nicholas Cage. Ps fuck the free world.”

‘It’s Coming’ appears on the band’s upcoming EP ‘Spice City’, which was recorded one night during a drunken session in Erik Karlsson of Chicagojazzen’s studio. It’ll be released on 22nd April.
