PWR BTTM share new single, first ever UK tour

Following their signing to Big Scary Monsters, PWR BTTM have shared a new single: listen to ‘Projection’ below. It’s about not fitting in, but with lines like “I’d probably burn and die / Cuz my skin isn’t made for the weather,” it could also be an ode to this week’s British heatwave. If you’re clutching at straws.

“’Projection’ is a song about feeling unqualified to be the way you see yourself because of the way other people see you, and how other people’s perception of your identity can warp your sense of self,” says the band’s Ben Hopkins. “It’s about being exhausted with the pressure of fitting in and throwing a shiny, glorious middle finger to those who doubt you.”

They’ve also announced a short UK tour:

03 Brighton, UK @ West Hill Hall
04 Leeds, UK @ Brudenell Games Room
05 Glasgow, UK @ Hug & Pint
06 London, UK @ Shacklewell Arms

The band have also not long shared a video for ‘West Texas’, which you can watch here.
