Menace Beach share seasonal track, ‘Holidays Are Heavy’

Menace Beach have shared their new seasonal track ‘Holidays Are Heavy’, a cut from their forthcoming 7” with Too Pure Singles. Fellow Leodiensians Cowtown have contributed a track for the reverse.

“I love the winter cos I like wearing scarves and chucking snowballs at buses,” says the band’s Ryan Needham. “This song is about the fact that even if you can’t buy presents and stuff for people, you can always find a way to look out for each other. I also somehow managed to make a chorus that I wanted to sound like Spiritualized, sound like Don Williams but that’s cool. Heehaw!”

Menace Beach have a handful of live dates left this year. Catch them at:

21 Vicenza, Italy, Vinile

15 London, Oslo, Memphis Industries “Lost Christmas” (with The Go! Team and Slug)
18 Derby, The Hairy Do
