Manchester Orchestra share another track from Swiss Army Man soundtrack

Manchester Orchestra have released another song for their soundtrack for Swiss Army Man, the bizarre new film from Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano.

“This was the very first song we wrote and recorded after reading the script,” the band’s Andy Hull told CoS of ‘A Better Way’.

“I had written a completely different song and planned on recording that one, but once I got to the studio and sat down at the microphone, I started playing this riff in a weird dropped tuning.

“The melody came after that and we ended up using this melody many times in the movie in different capacities. In a way, the song sort of created itself.”

The film’s due on 1st July, with the soundtrack out a week later, on 8th July. Listen to previous cut, ‘Montage’ here.
