‘Tired Eyes’ is the followup to 2014’s ‘Nervous Like Me‘ and features the rolling jab of ‘Freedom1313‘ and a cover of New Order’s 1983 track ‘Age Of Consent‘. Keeping the swaying beauty of the original but cranking up the abrasion, Cayetana maintain the spirit of the original while twisting it into a track they own. The EP also got four flame emojis from PUP, which is a very strong review.

If you like what you hear (good ears) then you can order a one-time pressing of the record from Asian Man Records.

The band spent last year playing with the likes of Against Me! and Beach Slang as well as putting in an appearance at Riot Fest Denver. Cayetana will be celebrating the release of ‘Tired Eyes’ with a headline show at PhilaMOCA on January 23rd alongside Mannequin Pussy, Katie Ellen and Jeff Riddle & The Bella Vista Social Club.

Here’s hoping ‘Freedom1313’ is a taster of what’s to come from album two. Now go back and listen again.
