Listen to brand new Muncie Girls song ‘Learn In School’

Muncie Girls are set to release their debut album ‘From Caplan To Belsize‘ on March 4th 2016 and, thanks to a session with Count Your Bruises in Berlin, you can listen to an acoustic version of opening track ‘Learn In School‘.

How good is that? Exactly! It’s very, very good!

Following on from ‘Gone With The Wind‘ and ‘Gas Mark 4‘, ‘From Caplan To Belsize‘ is shaping up to be an incredible album.

“I’ve been writing the album slightly differently,” Lande Hekt told Upset recently. “There are songs about current issues, politics, sexism and lad culture. What inspires me are negative things that I want to moan about. It’s about expressing discontent. If something is deeply distressing, you want to write about it, get it out and communicate that you’re upset about something. I couldn’t possibly tell what people will take from this album, if anything, but there are a few songs where the lyrics are supposed to be encouraging, in a political way. People standing up to things that they disagree with.”

‘From Caplan to Belsize’ is out March 4th via Specialist Subject/Uncle M/Animal Style Records and you can preorder it now.

Muncie Girls will also be joining Tellison on their UK tour which is Very Good News. The dates are as follows.
