Listen to A Day To Remember’s new track ‘Paranoia’

At the start of this week there was a teaser video letting us know what A Day To Remember had been up to, but it didn’t mention this.

The band have dropped a new track, ‘Paranoia’, as Zane Lowe‘s World Record on Beats 1. You can stream it below.

But for those expecting the announcement of a new ADTR album, you’re all out of luck. “You’re acting like there’s some mystery album floating out there in the ether and I’m telling you, there’s not,” Jeremy McKinnon tells Zane. “It’s one of those random things, we were just in the room, together, writing some music casually, for fun with no expectations. We’d been doing it for a few weeks, just kicking around some new ideas and Kevin just started playing this random riff and it just snowballed from there. We wrote it in one day.”

The band have a ten-date US tour with Parkway Drive and State Champs at the end of May as well as their Self-Help Festival but for those people desperate for a new album (which is everyone, right?) Jeremy doesn’t “know what to tell them, we just have this one song that we’re putting out for fun. I think it’s fun. It’s funny seeing people’s reactions. We’ve never just come out of nowhere and been ‘here’s something new’. We’re kinda out, just floating. We’ll see what happens”
