Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes shares a few demos

Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes has dug out a few demos, and then shared them via Instagram. Check out a slightly different version of ‘That’s The Spirit’ track ‘Blasphemy’ below, and another new ‘un too.

“Uncovering old demos, this ones called ‘Plume’,” Oli explains. “Why does my/Jordan’s vocals sound so much like Death Cab (p.s my heart has one impressive resume – it’s been a ghost, a hieroglyph, it’s been frozen over… Someone actually figure out how many times I’ve talked about my fucking heart, haha).”

“‘Blasphemy’ when it was more grunge,” he adds. “Don’t say you prefer it like this (cos maybe I do too..).”

The band are off on the road next month, with a tour that kicks off in London at the O2 Arena with Enter Shikari, Don Broco and Basement. Oli and Jordan also have plans to climb Mt Kilimanjaro in January, to raise money for Friends of PICU – more info on that here.
