BABYMETAL release epic new song ‘The One’

If you’re annoyed that the Easter bunny didn’t bring you everything you wanted this weekend, fear not ‘cos The Fox God has you covered. With less than a week to go until BABYMETAL release their second album ‘Metal Resistance‘, the band have dropped a brand new song and video. Check it ‘The One’ below.

As you can see, the video features Su-metal, Yuimetal and Moametal soaring above the crowd via a triangle-based pyramid (or tetrahedron, to all you geometry fans) as well as lots of slo-mo dance moves and fiery bursts. All in all, it captures the epic power ballad of ‘The One’ quite nicely while also showing off that unity the band are singing about.

BABYMETAL’s ‘Metal Resistance’ is out April 1st 2016 which is also International Fox Day. To celebrate the band will be headlining London’s Wembley Arena on April 2nd ahead of a US tour. Dates as follows.

02 London Wembley Arena, UK

04 New York PlayStation Theater, NY
07 Philadelphia Electric Factory, PA
10 Silver Spring The Fillmore, MD
11 Detroit The Fillmore, IL
13 Chicago House Of Blues, IL

“Through the last tour I have come across people from all over the world and have had the chance to feel that miraculous moment when everyone came together via BABYMETAL” explains Kobametal.

“Our new song ‘THE ONE‘ contains lyrics that speak of uniting the world or a crowd favourite at concerts ‘Road of Resistance‘ that never fails to bring our fans together, every BABYMETAL song makes up this extraordinary story. I continue to believe that the songs of BABYMETAL continue to push them forward to discover new possibilities. All I can say right now is for all of you to wait patiently for the coming of the Fox Day.”
