With those Christmas cobwebs firmly shaken out, it’s time for the first new issue of Upset to land in 2017, and it’s rammed full of awesome.
When most bands talk about comebacks, they’re not working on the same scale as this month’s cover stars. At the end of their last album, you’d be forgiven for thinking we’d probably seen the last of Deaf Havana. How wrong we’d have been. Working through their problems, they’re a band reborn, back with what’s almost certainly their strongest album to date.
They’re leading the way for a scene that’s packed with excitement at the start of a new year. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes talk a stormer of a new record, You Me At Six continue to drive towards the very top, As It Is have dropped a pop punk album to believe in – and that’s just scraping the surface.
We’ve also got room for Avenged Sevenfold, The Menzingers, Cloud Nothings, AFI, Allison Crutchfield, Japandroids, Greywind, Menace Beach, Palisades, WSTR, Brutus, Gone Is Gone, Tall Ships and loads, loads more.
The new issue of Upset is on the streets this Wednesday (18th January). You can pre-order a copy from us right now below, or subscribe to get every issue direct to your door on release.
